Mean Scheme (mean scheme)
Mean Scheme was a German PC ANSI art group founded by Nail in November 1995. Originally established as a subgroup of the PPE group PAiN!, it became independent by October 1996 and with several members of Black Maiden joining its ranks, turned into a German ANSI supergroup.
Aiming to further the German BBS and ANSI scene, Mean Scheme members organized monthly ANSI art competition GO! through most of 1997, releasing the results with added hints, tips and tutorials to help fellow artists.
Double group duties of most of its members with Black Maiden and Fire eventually caught up with Mean Scheme and so it was put to rest in late 1997.
